Description: Founded in 1818, the firm sold books and stationery, engaged in printing and bookbinding, and published a large line of schoolbooks. Original partners were Deacon Durrie and Henry and Lorenzo Peck. After the death of Durrie in 1857, William White joined the firm, which was renamed Peck, White and Peck. The collection contains accounts; correspondence concerning book orders, publishing, and supplies; book lists; and some personal correspondence.
