Description: A charitable organization for men, the Calvary Industrial Home was incorporated 1895 and absorbed by the Salvation Army in 1911. It provided lodging and employment for New Haven men (mostly alcoholics) unable to find other support. The Home depended financially on the charity of New Haven residents. The records consist of minutes of the board of managers (1894-1911) and scrapbooks.
