Description: Bertha Madeline Perkins was married to Wilton Everett Britton (1868-1939), who was the entomologist at the Connecticut Agricultural Station in New Haven from 1901 until his retirement. They lived on McKinley Avenue. The papers consist of Mrs. Britton’s genealogical notes, newspapers clippings, and correspondence with other family members and genealogists; she was probably gathering material for admission to the Colonial Dames.
