Description: This literary society was composed of 13 members, chiefly women, who were required to write at least one composition per week. Members submitted their literary work under pseudonyms.The collection contains compositions and essays of members; several manuscript editions of literary selections called Multum in Parvo; several editions of a French literary paper, On Dit; memory books; and miscellaneous materials, including descriptions of life in New Haven during the mid-19th century.
