Includes correspondence and other papers (1770-1810) of William Leffingwell's father, Christopher Leffingwell (1734-1810), relating chiefly to his military and political activities during the Revolution; correspondence (chiefly 1850s-1880) of William Leffingwell's son, Edward Henry Leffingwell (1803-1888), relating chiefly to his autograph collection; account book (1798-1799) of shipping firm Leffingwell and Pierpont; correspondence and other papers (1820-1864) of Augustus Russell Street (1791-1866) and his wife, Caroline Mary (Leffingwell) Street (1790-1877); and other family papers.
