Donating an Object to the Museum

Thank you for your interest in donating an object, or objects, to the New Haven Museum.

All objects offered to the New Haven Museum must first undergo a thorough review process by the New Haven Museum Collections Committee. This policy ensures that all newly acquired objects are consistent with the scope of our collections, and that we can properly house, store and potentially exhibit these acquisitions now and in the future. These reviews occur three to four times a year.

Kindly complete the Object for Potential Acquisition, and send the form as an attachment to collections@newhavenmuseum.org, or mail it to:

New Haven Museum
114 Whitney Avenue
New Haven, CT 06510
Attn: Collections Manager

Please also include a photograph of the object.

We may contact you for further details regarding your object. After the Collections Committee meets, we will be in contact and let you know whether the donation has been accepted.
