Pardee-Morris House

We’re excited to announce the return of Sunday programming at the historic Pardee-Morris House (PMH)!

Built by Amos Morris around 1750, the house was burned by the British during their raid on New Haven in 1779 and rebuilt and expanded by the Morris family.  Check out a fascinating article on this Connecticut cultural treasure at: www.antiquesandthearts.com/pardeemorris-housecelebrates-100-yearsof-publicvisitors/.

Colonial Herb Garden

A garden in front of a house

Description automatically generated with medium confidence

Thanks to our neighbors, Rachel Heerema and Giulia Gouge, we have a colonial herb garden that demonstrates the herbs and plants that a colonial woman would have used for cooking, medicine, household, and tea or aroma. Explore the Garden!
