Mission Statement: The New Haven Museum stimulates inquiry, increases understanding and fosters appreciation of greater New Haven’s history and heritage.

Vision Statement: The New Haven Museum will be a catalyst for generating ideas, values and actions that foster and support stewardship of our city, its region, and it historical and cultural resources.
